The AGM is an opportunity to hear updates on EMBA’s work over the past year, learn more about what’s ahead, and get involved in shaping the future of natural surface singletrack trails in Edmonton.

Call for Board Nominations (Now Open)

EMBA is currently accepting nominations for Board Members-at-Large.

The nomination process is simple:

  • Any EMBA member may nominate another member

  • Nominees must be members in good standing with an active paid membership

To submit a nomination, please email:

Subject: Board Member Nomination

Please include the name of the nominee and a brief description of their interest or experience.

Nominations close Thursday, February 12.

Serving on the EMBA Board is a meaningful way to contribute to trail stewardship, advocacy, and long-term planning for Edmonton’s trail network.

Volunteer Trail Leaders Needed

In addition to board roles, EMBA is also looking for volunteer Trail Leaders to help lead trail days throughout the year.

Trail Leaders play an important role in:

  • Leading and coordinating volunteer trail days

  • Showing others how to work on trails responsibly and safely

  • Helping build a positive, welcoming volunteer culture

No prior experience is required. EMBA provides training and ongoing support. You don’t need to lead large groups—many Trail Leaders simply lead their own team, friends, or riding crew.

There are perks and rewards for Trail Leaders, but most importantly, this role helps ensure that trail work happens in a safe, sanctioned, and sustainable way.

If you enjoy leading, mentoring, or helping others learn, this is a great way to get involved.

Committee Opportunities

EMBA is also seeking volunteers to participate in the following committees:

  • Bike Park

  • Adopt-a-Trail

  • Communications

  • IT

  • Advocacy

  • Trail Strategy Planning

Committee work is a flexible way to contribute skills, ideas, and time toward specific areas of EMBA’s work.

Get Involved

The AGM is a chance to learn more about EMBA’s direction, ask questions, and find ways to contribute—whether through board service, trail leadership, or committee involvement.

We look forward to seeing you on March 14 and continuing to build and steward Edmonton’s singletrack trail network together.
